I just had a terribly awkward moment with the owner of the company I'm working at.
I'm talking to a bloke about my weekend and said I went to a league blah blah and he is interested he wants to go to games. So then he comes over says who you follow in proper football.
I'm thinking he meant like epl so I explain I go for boro
Then he mentions afl and walks off in disgust. Like I don't care about football/soccer and I didn't even get to tell him I go for the even more pathetic Carlton

Adult participation rate is an underrated metric, it extrapolates better to crowds than vhild participation rate because youth rarely can afford tickets
Soccer converts a lower fraction of participants to fans mind u. England have more adults playing soccer regularly than kids
