English Premier League 🦁

I see heaps of kids with PSG jerseys.
To be fair many kids would have gravitated towards PSG even before they won the Champions League because of the star power of players like Kylian Mbappe and Messi when they were at the club, and winning the Champions League would only have served to increase their fanbase further even though their playing list has completely changed since then.

"WTF is a Champion League thingy?"

It was a wild punt - they’ve been lucky everyone else stumbled and fell off any form of last season barring arsenal.
It’s also not over yet 😁

I know it must really get on your nerves looking up the table ;).

I thought they would get there given only 1 game a week and how they recruited in the summer. Still some weak links in the squad, going to be interesting to see how they contend with Europe next season.

Haha
Of course can’t stand the bastards :)
They hardly recruited but 2 forwards.
Backline midfield about the same.
Without Bruno they’d be toast tbh.
Only 3points above us now :)
We shall see where we all land for the top 5 soon eh.
Gonna be tense times ahead but we all like that just a little bit haha

Won 5–0, bloody hell. Attacking is not like Forest at all.
Nottingham Forest needing to play more attacking football in the run home to try and win as many games as possible in addition to increasing their for and against so that they improve their chances of staying up this year.

Spurs defeated Wolves 1-0 courtesy of a goal to Joao Palhinha in the 82nd minute to end their 15-match winless streak and win a game in the Premier League for the first time in 118 days, but they remain 18th on the ladder and in the relegation zone on 34 points, two points from safety after West Ham also ran out 2-1 winners over Everton in their match to move to 36 points.

A tasty run in. Arsenal playing 3 out of 4 games against London clubs are spicy for them. Included in that is the West Ham game next weekend, them fighting relegation. However the City opponents are, on the face of it, likely to be more slippery. One common denominator is they both play Crystal Palace which is another marker on how the run in unfolds. The other competitions they both are in will play a big role in the final outcome. Arsenal's champions league games this and next week against PSG against City's FA Cup final on the 18th May. This later game will mean a rescheduling of the Bournemouth game. Given that, and as it disrupts the flow of the League games, I'm thinking that Arsenal are favourites to take the title.

Arsenal top of the league but City with the game in hand, we've seen this movie before.

Run-in for the 3rd relegation spot just as tasty. Between Hammers and Spurs no doubt.

I think City will get it to be honest. Even though City have an FA Cup final, Arsenal have two legs of a Champions League semi-final that they’ll be fully focused on (but still lose). While City still have to play Villa, Villa aren’t in good form like they were at the start and early middle of the season.

As for relegation, it’ll be tough for both sides but I honestly think that since we both won last weekend, we’re the favourites to go down. Like how Arsenal and City have to play Palace, we both have to play Leeds. West Ham have Brentford, Arsenal, Newcastle and Leeds next while we have Villa, Leeds, Chelsea and Everton. I wouldn’t sleep on Forest going down though despite their good form, as they’ve got Chelsea, Newcastle, Man United and Bournemouth plus two legs of a Europa League semi against Villa.
