2025-26 A-League Women — finals series matches

Mary Stanic-Floody and Jazmin Wardlow coming on in the 71st minute for Canberra United, replacing Sasha Grove and Tegan Bertolissio respectively.
 
Melbourne Victory ran out 3-1 winners over Canberra United in the first A-League Women elimination final, courtesy of a brace of goals from Ella O'Grady in the 24th and 51st minute, along with a goal to Rachel Lowe in the 21st minute. Sasha Grove scored the only goal of the match for Canberra United in the 29th minute, with the result confirming a Melbourne derby semi-final over two legs between Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory, of which the first leg will be held at Home of the Matildas next week and the second leg at ctrl:cyber Pitch the following week, in addition to confirming that the winner of the second elimination final between Brisbane Roar and Adelaide United will be facing Wellington Phoenix in the other semi-final.

Hopefully they survive. When stuff like this and Western United happen it makes it known that the APL isn’t as stable as the AFL or NRL and there’s serious questions to be asked that come along with that.
