Thought I'd create this thread for A-League Women finals series match discussion for season 2025-26, given that the Dub home and away season finishes next week and the top six is close to being confirmed, with finals not too far away. This thread can also be used for general discussion surrounding the Dub finals as well.

Cheers! I was gonna create this.

Any predictions? City to choke again or will they finally break the curse?

Seriously hope the Roar can make the finals. Las t year was extremely frustrating and we looked like we were headed the same way before these last two wins. It's crazy to me that just an extra point or 3 and we'd still be ~2nd.

A chance for a 2nd leg at home would be lovely just for the day out.

The A-League Women finals series for season 2025-26 has now been confirmed, with Canberra United and Brisbane Roar facing Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United in elimination finals at McKellar Park and Imperial Corp Stadium respectively. Both elimination finals will be held on Anzac Day, with the winners of those matches facing Melbourne City and Wellington Phoenix in the semi-finals over two legs, of which the second leg will be hosted by the top two sides on the second weekend of May.

Sienna Saveska making her return from injury for Melbourne Victory in their A-League Women elimination final against Canberra United, as are Emilia Makris, Erin Healy and Paige Zois for Adelaide United in the other elimination final against Brisbane Roar. Ilona Melegh returns to the Adelaide United extended squad after representing the Young Matildas at the under-20 Women's Asian Cup in Thailand, along with Daisy Brown and Zara Kruger who both return to the Brisbane Roar extended squad also, but Adelaide United will be without Maeve Nicholas as she's with the Junior Matildas ahead of the under-17 Women's Asian Cup in China in May, as well as Amelie Millar who has been omitted from the playing list.

Sasha Grove scores in the 29th minute for Canberra United to pull a goal back for them and make the score 2-1. Emma Hawkins with the assist.

Kayla Morrison yellow carded in the third minute of first half stoppage time for Melbourne Victory for an argument, becoming the second Melbourne Victory player after Ella O'Grady and second player overall to receive one this match.

Ella O'Grady scores again in the 51st minute for Melbourne Victory to get her brace and extend their lead to 3-1. Holly Furphy with the assist.
