Souttar looks like he hasnt missed a day

Really quick and agile, took a player on playing out, beautiful weights on his passes

How the heck have leicester gotten relegqted? They look really good
Teams go mental once relegated and play stress free fun football. The mind is a hell of a thing

Souttar accidentally broke someones nose. All legal, was shielding the ball and his elbow caught a player on the snozz

Lots of beautiful forward balls, good vision, good weight and quick handling speed
Friggin writing Souttar and broke in the same sentence I don't care if it was active or passive grammar :D

How many games have we had a full strength back 5?

Bos, herrington/burgess, souttar, circati, italiano/miller

Seriously tasty back 5
Glanced a bit back. I paused wondering whether we ever got to see a Sainsbury Souttar pairing. We did Japan away and maybe 2 others. Then I checked with Circati and it was Bahrain at home but Circati was right back.

We haven't really given each injury to Circati and Souttar.

Herrington just looks like a natural. I've seen sensible debunking that world cups make big deals as scouts are technically watching but if Herrington plays well they'll be lining up.

Remember McGree signed for Charlotte and we thought he'd have a 5 year USA based run up?

FWIW Nürnberg signed Beauchamp and Heffernen after 06. The latter must have impressed too.

so never in their preferred positions?

Souttar, circati and herrington are so good at progressing the ball that it makes it worth playing poppas back 3 system

its not like we are dripping with midfield talent right now and a back 3 means that we get to play bos at lwb which is better than playing him at lb or lw imo

That's right. We've never had a Circati Souttar Burgess back 3. Of course Burgess has the superior passing game but it'd be interesting to see Herrington there too.

Tricky thing is where to play who?

Souttar feels a bit better at RCB but Circati does too. Something about being that but outer for the channel passes. On the left could be tricky so I guess Herrington goes there.

I'd rate souttar's passing well ahead of burgess actually

I think so. Souttar does have the odd wayward. Burgess has good medium length channel balls. To think we've got 4 and make it 5 with Matthews of ball playing defenders it really adds to the versatility of play.

I listened to a good half of the podcast post Curaçao and the regular (name escapes me) needs to write these statements in a media piece because it's true we need to exploit the assets we have and Popovic just isn't or probably can't do it.
