Jamilla Rankin has mixed defensive stats but is good at chance creation so it'd be better for Montemurro to try playing her as a defensive midfielder instead of at centre back or fullback.
 
Caitlin Foord yellow carded in the 64th minute for the Matildas for some biff associated with the decision to disallow the goal, becoming the first player to receive one this match.

Caitlin Foord definitely onside in the buildup to what should have been the third goal for us as the flag stayed down and it only proves more that there are clearly problems with the refereeing in this match.
 
Referee now saying that Caitlin Foord's 60th minute goal hit the side netting rather than going into the back of the net but replays clearly show the ball heading straight into the goal.
 
Two more changes for the Matildas. Holly McNamara and Courtney Nevin coming on in the 77th minute for Caitlin Foord and Jamilla Rankin respectively.
