You never know. If we win the OFC Pro League, we will have $450,000 to spend. That might help sweeten the deal for Sawyer. Also, by cutting 3 players, those weekly wages are saved and reallocated to new player signings.
 
Sawyers situation an interesting one. Started and scored and was leading their golden boot start of the year. Then loses his spot to a youngster (Vickery?)and then duke comes in and it puts him even more down the pecking order. He still gets minutes off the bench every game but i can see it more being are macarthur happy with him over him wanting to stay. If macarthur offer him a new deal i can't see him turning it down. I guess we'll wait and see

3rd choice isnt where you want to be. Seems like he is just being thrown on for the last 10 mins when they launch balls into the box.
 
Pasquali was just a one game suspension right?

Send Pasquali, Uchida, Tommy G, Janko, Eliops and imo we are hard to beat with that spine.

Javi isnt going obviously so we are prone to a keeper fuck up.

Assuming the majority of first XI starting team are in Fiji, then a possible starting XI on Wednesday night in the crucial match against Bula FC might be:

Charlston
Eliopoulos
Jankovic
Painter-Andrews
Lampard
Giannakopoulos
Pasquali
Mikkola
Uchida
Swibel
Cocks

Then you have a full bench to choose from: Coveny, Inglese, Menelaou, Pope, Mesorouni.

That starting XI if it stays for the whole hub should be strong enough to defeat Bula FC, PNG Hekari and Tahiti United. It just means we sacrifice the Oakleigh match by sending home the players that largely featured against Auckland to face Oakleigh, with a bunch of young kids on the bench.

Agree that Shalamanov-Trenkov should be delisted at the start of the midseason transfer window to make way for a quality keeper but probably we can keep Singh and Lackay through season's end before culling them.

delisting all 3 would be the only logical move... none of thwm can provode anything for the NPL let alone the upcoming championship... we are in need of solid quality especially up front.
