NPL 2026

Monday night would have been huge. South v dandy city in the city is in no way comparable to preston v south.
Why would Monday have been huge? I still don't agree. I dont believe anybody NOT already in the northern suburbs is going to venture out on a Monday night to Reservoir. If we hadnt played Preston for a decade then perhaps but its not "the big show" anymore... its just another match.

Will be a shortage from the northern suburbs as well, a lot of games on at the same time and its Easter.

Monday night is a clean slate and any other year it likely gets that slot.

In any case its not our home game. We gotta somehow get ppl to lakeside the following sunday.

Im pretty sure Green Gully and St Albans are pretty close?
Whoops - the logos overlapped and I completely missed that one!

Updated:
  • ACT: Queanbeyan City and Monaro Panthers (Queanbeyan / Riverside Derby) @ 350m
  • NNSW: Adamstown and Newcastle Olympic @ 986m - although Broadmeadow Magic and Kahibah also 1017m apart
  • VIC: Green Gully and St Albans Saints Dinamo @ 1074m
  • NSW: Marconi and Sydney United @ 1470m
  • SA: Croydon and West Adelaide @ 1934m
  • WA: Dianella White Eagles and Bayswater City @ 4500m
  • QLD: Eastern Suburbs and Olympic FC @ 5036m
  • TAS: Launceston City and Launceston United @ 6542m

Altona Magic and East Altona PAOK are meters apart :)
How apt! The 'indigenous' Slavs of Macedonia and the Pontian refugees sent to Macedonia being so close to each other.
Yep - that's the one! For some reason I thought it was 3 clubs in the vicinity, but it is just the two - just 212m apart from the kick-off points.

Once this map is updated, will be nice and easy and good to do that full closest/furthest distances in each league now (which given this new shared Cristiano Ronaldo backed platform will be sooner rather than later - I'm going through and adding a club to each league for now, so that at least each league is in the system, and then looks like someone is piggybacking off that and adding additional details to clubs, and clubs to leagues that I've made after that - just the Vic leagues below the State Leagues - metro and regional, and NSW association leagues to be set up now).

Given that Yoogali were unceremoniously booted from the NPL, I presume at an NPL level, Tasmania will now be home to the longest second-tier trip in the country now.

Not sure if it counts but the wanderers’ complex and Blacktown Spartans in npl are also right next to each other

Easiest way to do that is to beat Preston on Saturday... hahahahahahahahahaah

In that Image the yellow line is measuring at wrong points. Where the green dot is is the club room Magic play on the pitch to the left and PAOK on the pitch to the right, the club rooms are back to back.. and were you are measuring from is the carpark across the road.

Preston vs South is being played on Saturday 3pm so BOTH sets of fans can go to church on Friday night and Saturday night... sheesh, talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.

Burgers, Oakleigh and Bentleigh are ALL playing on Saturday early afternoon too, are THEY high risk?

Only Sunday match this round are two clubs not celebrating Easter.
So true, how on earth is Sat 3pm a bad time? I wish more NSW teams would do this, home before the sun goes down in the winter months

Good to know - I must have been thrown off by a combo of Altona Magic's webpage, FV Gameday, and Google Maps. By what you're saying, the yellow numbers are correct (which means PAOK move from SJ to 3, and Magic stay where they are)?

Reason I had the above version, is Magic's website lists Pitch 3 as SJ Clements Reserve, which all the maps I've looked at have SJ Clements Reserve as the field on the far left.

I prefer Sunday 3pm for same reason, Sat is for junior soccer for a lot of people but this time its to avoid Easter for both sets of fans, make sense to me. Im there either way :P
Good - Canberra is fucking weird for this - maybe this is why they wanted to get rid of Yoogali.

They compromised in the NPL seasons that Yoogali gets Sunday home games in Griffith, but Saturday away games

We must kick off no later than 3.15 against south, bergers, thunder or oakleigh due to an fv rulling. So were stuck to either a saturday or sunday
That is rubbish FFV and Preston can say bye to those big crowds they got last year

If we win this weekend, we will create history to become the first club to win 10 consecutive games at the start of the season.

We are currently tied with Blacktown Spartans on 9 wins.
