Instead of hitting people with big chunks of bad news like the Morrison Government did during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, this government seems to be going for more of a drip feed approach....

Which is probably the better way, at least in the short term.

It stops dickheads going out and emptying the supermarkets....

I think having to deal with a one in a million pandemic (people dieing left right centre/put aside the war abroad)) is nothing to compare to lack of fuel.

Besides, idiots are idiots people were filling jerry cans here there everywhere - the address was also nothing new that people didn't know but a vaseline approach restrictions will be a coming thats pretty obvious as well depending what occurs the coming weeks.
MrMaggo bumbling was a waste of time and as mentioned nothing like a pandemic......its just fuel change your ways slightly till further notice.

You know as well as I do that he'll never implement a full crackdown on gambling ads as it will be political suicide.

The gambling companies are a very powerful industry in this country and any attempt at a full crackdown will see them pull a full blown blowtorch on the government that will see them thrown out of the next election.

I'm no Labor voter as most in here would know but look no further than Albanese's predecessor as Labor leader, Bill Shorten's policy to abolish negative gearing.

The property sector pulled the hot blowtorch on him and it ended up costing him and Labor the 2019 election, one that most pundits suggested was unloseable.

No party of either persuasion will ever attempt a full blown reform of anything in this country anymore for fear of losing votes and ultimately their cushy jobs in office.

Luv our own country travelling around and done so - road trips are dam great but dam been exxxy for years.
