Wellington Phoenix ran out 2-0 winners over Adelaide United in their A-League Women matchday 22 game, their last match of the Dub home and away season, courtesy of goals to Marisa van der Meer and Brooke Nunn in the 30th and 34th minute respectively. The result sees them finish second on the ladder on 34 points with their tenth win of the season, securing a semi-final over two legs, whilst Adelaide United finish fourth on 30 points after suffering their eighth loss this year.
