Matilda's abroad

Katrina Gorry came on at the half for West Ham in their 1-1 WSL draw with London City Lionesses. Alanna Kennedy came on in the 67th minute for London City Lionesses.
 
Annalise Rasmussen on the bench for Juventus in their Coppa Italia Femminile semi-final second leg game against Fiorentina and still possibly in line to make her club debut.
 
Winonah Heatley came on in the 77th minute for AS Roma in their 2-1 Coppa Italia Femminile semi-final second leg win over Inter, with AS Roma also winning the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
 
No game time for Annalise Rasmussen, who was an unused substitute for Juventus in their 2-1 Coppa Italia Femminile semi-final second leg win over Fiorentina, with Juventus also winning the tie 4-1 on aggregate.
 
No game time for Emily van Egmond, who was an unused substitute for Leicester City in their 1-0 WSL loss to Brighton, their seventh-straight loss this season, nor for Charlize Rule, who was an unused substitute for Brighton.
 
Sam Kerr and Ellie Carpenter both start for Chelsea in their UWCL quarterfinal second leg game against Arsenal. Steph Catley and Caitlin Foord both start for Arsenal. Kyra Cooney-Cross not in the matchday squad altogether for Arsenal and will play no further part for them in season 2025-26 for personal reasons.
 
Sam Kerr played the entirety of Chelsea's 1-0 UWCL quarterfinal second leg win over Arsenal, getting an assist on the only goal of the game in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time. Ellie Carpenter also played the entirety of the match for Chelsea, getting a yellow card in the 48th minute. Caitlin Foord played the entirety of the match for Arsenal, who win the tie 3-2 on aggregate and advance to the semi-finals. Steph Catley started and played most of the first half for Arsenal before being forced off with a calf injury in the first minute of first half stoppage time.

Arsenal to play either Lyon or Wolfsburg. Bayern vs almost certainly Barça on the other side.

Barcelona will most likely breeze through to the semi-finals and possibly the final also after getting routs in the league phase to finish unbeaten and score the most goals in the entire comp, and we could well have a repeat of last season's final depending on how results pan out.

Looks like it’ll be a Barça vs Lyon final. Lyon will probably come back from 1–0 down, Arsenal won’t do what they did last season and Bayern will probably lose to Barça. Wonder if Culers are still complaining about their injury and financial crises lol. Just goes to show that while Liga F is a Big Six league it’s only so if you play for Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Even with Barcelona facing OL Lyonnes in the UWCL final it'll still be of interest from a Matildas abroad perspective because Teagan Micah will be in the final despite it being highly likely that she'll never get game time.

She needs to move, Lyon was a stupid move. She shoulda been number one at Liverpool. She needs to be number one somewhere.
