General A Leagues thread (Men and Women) 2025/26 season

well its pretty obvious it won't be a long term relationship.
How many gaffas have they had - I just checked since Popa left '17 - 7 appointments since, none lasting more than 2yrs, your right quick fling was harsh, an arrangement till further notice.
There is no relegation so I don't understand not even trying with a npl coach

This is the latest in a long line of amusing stories that only the A League can provide.
When will we be able to take football seriously in this country.
It's funny because new Zealand with a few a league or former a league players beat Chile. So as I said even though the suits the football admin are sleeping the actual players are getting it done

Rumblings are azarni has a fallout with a few senior city players and German ferraya is going to victory next season
Not surprised about the Arzani rumour. German Ferreyra is another issue though, once he found his footing he has been solid although this season he has had a few clangers. More importantly he is the hard man for MC.

I can't explain any further about how over the transfer merry around I am. Victory and city should NOT be signing each others players if they do it should be rare.

Bloody stupid spending money watching German play when he is playing for the rival

I thought that Arzani was on loan from some European club. And Arzani has had a storied career. Ferreyra can't be on much coin as he was plucked from the Russian 2nd division. So given his age, maybe MVC are offering more money and since City are a development club they may be unwilling to match it.

Code wars
??? You think ? Forget the others our code is in the same situation as years ago - not just badly run but bottle necked and not contemplating using all its resource - dejavue history repeats itself and the the article is on the money.

Who is in charge of the a league now?? They are very quiet hopefully we don't have a six month off season we need to be starting in August/September

Dan Arzani has to have been one of the most overhyped players in history. He was touted as the next Harry Kewell but now plays for a very average Melbourne City side.
Daniel Arzani is still on loan at Melbourne City from Ferencvaros so will end up returning to Europe next season having had a year's worth of development time unless he gets delisted and stays on at the club.

the desperation of many here hanging by the edge of their seats for a genuine attacking propect climbing to the top.
How many times we gone through this.
Least we got Bos/Irakunda - even Toure showing the goods now hope these fellas kick on got a feeling they will compared to Arzani.
Sure he suffered the ACL bad timing - maybe was meant to be back here.
I think it suits his level - I'd be surprised a OS club risk going for him but good luck if so.
