When was his last A-League gig?

It was that short stint at Victory where they only lost once under him.

Coaching in Japan or France is a different animal.

Graham Arnold failed in Japan yet look at his record in the A-League and then his record at international level.

Anyone who thinks Kisnorbo is a bad choice obviously had their head in their rectal area during his stint at both Melbourne clubs.

Well if he can replicate Graham Arnold's success then they'd like that however I'm not seeing anything from recent from that I would consider an inspiring choice. Plus he's a big sook on the sideline, worse than Talay.

Again, you're still not getting it.

His record in the A-League is very, very good.

Yes he failed in Japan and France but coaching there is vastly different to coaching in the A-League.

He did the double and got to a Grand Final with City then had near flawless record in his short stint at Victory.

That tells me he'll do very well with Sydney.

At MC Kisnorbo inherited a team built by Mombearts and COVID. It was Mobearts who built the team, trained them and then under the COVID regime turned them into a very cohesive unit. Then when Mombearts fell ill he returned to France and Kisnorbo inherited a very good team. Conversely, the other AL teams dropped as so many visa players departed. You and I could have coached MC and won.
Kisnorbo departed during the season and took Troyes from Ligue 1 down to Ligue 2 and got sacked before the team would end up in Ligue 3. In Japan he didn't even last a season.
At MV, he inherited the team that Poppa built. Then departed mid-season.
This is why I don't rate him.

He's no Graham Arnold.
 
As long as he gets them playing attacking football, I'll be happy. Every time I watch the Smurfs play, they send me to sleep. This is a problem with most teams, and a major part of declining crowd numbers
