Does Gauci have a get out clause, when Port Vale are relegated? Surely he will be picked up by a club in a higher grade comp, somewhere else in Europe, if not in England.
Joe Gauci's loan finishing at season's end will be his get out clause when Port Vale are relegated and ultimately it'll be up to Aston Villa as to whether they loan him out elsewhere next season or delist him altogether.
Statistically he’s having a good season even though Port Vale are shit so yeah he’ll go somewhere else. He’s clearly too good for League Two. He’s actually rated Port Vale’s best player this season with a 6.97 rating on Sofascore.

Sorry this is off topic, but it's only 79 days, 4 hours and 58 minutes till WC 2026 kicks off. Moderators, maybe we could have a general WC 2026 topic to see stuff like this which encapsulates the fans' passion for the beautiful game and the World Cup in particular:

Any Irish folk on here who can enlighten us re "doing a Stephen Ireland" and the parrot on his shoulder?

Ok I got the parrot reference: Troy Parrott secured a hat trick with a goal in the 96th minute to send the Republic of Ireland to the 2026 FIFA World Cup play-offs in a dramatic last gasp 3-2 win against Hungary in Budapest.
Man what a game that was

I believe Stephen Ireland once dropped out of a World Cup qualifying game squad and lied about the reason. They found out he lied and he never played for the national team again.

I didn't realise Deni Jurić's team is fifth in poland. He has five goals in 13 games. Really gone under the radar.
They were top at one point but had a bad run of form. Jurić has done well. He's leading the AA Golden Boot.
I think it just goes to show which leagues/clubs are more followed than others. I’d say this is also why Ante Å uto went to Hibs. Deni Jurić may well make a similar move.

Tete Yengi started and played 62 minutes for 10-man Machida Zelvia in their 1-1 J1 100 Year Vision League East Region draw with Kawasaki Frontale before being subbed off, with Machida Zelvia also going on to win the subsequent penalty shootout 3-1.

A bit below average I think. I'm not sure if he has a long tell all interview.
This is something that's missing in Australia and part of the problem with our marketing
Given that he is 23 years old, he would be a great person to interview on a long format. I am not even sure whether he even gave interviews while he was in Belgium or now at Feyenoord. Of course he is entitled to refuse to do them but I was just curious.

Also cause he’s probably our best player at the moment. Feyenoord fans are loving him too, just heard from one talking about the goal and said he’s amazing!
