Women's Asian Cup match discussion thread

yep I think thats pretty simple summary.
We are "fighters" physical but lack the "finesse" of the jogo bonito - it seems thats where both our NT's end up as such.
Given in the last 10 minutes we went via the side and with crosses, I would have put EVE up with Kennedy and had the option of two to head the resultant crosses. Even so, Kennedy almost got one.

I have never been a huge fan of EVE, but that successive coaches have kept finding roles for her, is testament to some more subtle things she must do well.

I delineated them somewhere else in this thread - I think?
She is the Jackson Irvine of the Matildas. Annoyingly erratic in areas like passing accuracy and ball control, but passionate, a leader, can score, a never-say-die fighter, and shows occasional brilliance that comes from long experience on the international stage. Most capped Australian international.

Let's get Japan in the under 20 tournament if we can't get them in that then under 15s if not then the over 60s lawn balls we should have them!
Young Matildas and Junior Matildas have heaps of potential so we should be able to get the job done in the under-20 and under-17 Women's Asian Cup and cement the A-League Women's spot as number one league in Asia.
