I doubt rumours like that.

If 2 players had a disagreement, i am sure Cirro and Gus could host a meeting to try to sort it out.

85% of NRL rumours are pure BS, usually created by opposition fans, player managers and journos.

Ok, Xerri is playing reserve grade and possibly doesn't like playing on the right.

Switching Critter to the left is a tactical move which is probably permanent.

I'm backing Xerri to play himself into form and get back into the NRL xide.

IMO Xerri wanted a longer contract but the club was only prepared to extend him until 2027.

That doesn't 100% mean Xerri will not be at the club in 2028, it depends how the next few months play out.

Burto is more of a runner than a passer he needs players on the left who can also pass the ball, Kiks, Kritter and Kiraz.

The role for the right centre is tp defend well and run on to passes from Galvin. Xerri is suited to playing the role on the right both him ans Presto are ball runners not passers.

If Teaupa plays left side half he is more of a skilled edge passer and ball runners suit that kind of half.

The media always tries to make a big issue about players leaving the dogs.

I'm 100% happy about Marhoney, Sexton, RFM and co leaving the club.

I wish that we retained Averillo and i'm 50/50 about some of the former reserve graders who are playing a Parra, they are good, but not exceptional.

Players get dropped to reserve grade, have a bust up with the coach and leave NRL clubs all of the time, it is perfectly normal.

If a player doesn't want to listen to the coach, improve his game and play his role in the team - we don't need thst guy regardless of how talented he is.

So fsr Marhoney at the Cows has gone exactly how I expected. Hevis a good player, but he csn be overrated and his disciple and decision making can be suspect.

I have to decide whether or not I am confident.

In spite of the big Raiders pack and the rain, i am optimistic.

I think both sides will be pumped, we may be able to drop less ball, make fewer errors and have a better kicking game and kick chase.

Dogs 20 - Raiders 14.

Good to get a win.

Interesting sequence of interchanges
Salmon - Mann
Hayward - Salmon ( Mann Hooker)
Mann - Hayward

3 interchanges rotatiing locks and hooker.

Very interesting SG ball backline.

1 Bryenton, 3. Udeh, 4. Rauqe 7. Barakat all good players Rauge looks like a giant playing against NRL or international players.

Young in the fulltime squad, but coming off the bench in flegg.

Didn't play round 1.Probably coming back from injury.

Appartently he is a hooker with a good running game.

I can see Hayward / Young rotating at hooker and Hayward / Salmon or Todd rotating at lock.

Mann and Turpin probably not at the club in 2027.

Todd playing lock in reserve grade.

Sam Huhes named i reserve grade, probably no HIA issue.

Highes didn't end up playing.

We eeked out narrow wins against the Raiders in Flegg and reserve grade.

So far this season our opponents have defended well, conditions and the grounnd size haven't helped the attack.

The attack looks slightly clunky, but we have executed some slick set moves.

What is different compared to other seasons is we have more purpose and direction in attack.

We need more punch in the middle and Galvin needs a bit more vision and to be a bit more selective in attack.

We have a lot of troops coming back fro injury who will be on deck soon.

Panthers and Warriors are shooting the lights out.

We play the Panthers round 6 at home and the Warriors round 21 at home. And Panthers round 26.

Newcastle defence looked pretty soft compared to the Dragons and Raiders.

Good opportunity to stay up with the leaders, get our attack in the grove and tune up the side.

We need a big win against the Knights. Hopefully with zero points scored against.

AJ must have been injured in round 1 of the NSW cup,

Hughes played yesterday, Hopoi played well.

Todd and Underhill played, Toilalo seems like a good player.

DSF will be back soon.

Having a few middle forwards injured is normal.

Or depth will come in handy at some stage.

Dragons were woeful in attack against the Eels, a shsmbles.

The 2 tries the scored against us in Vegas looked good, but their halves threw the rudder overboard in this game.

Comparing Galvin to Cleary is a bit unfair at this stage.

Galvin is a young kid similar to Cleary in his first year.

The Panthers are benefiting from 3/4 of their spine and their lock playing together for many years and being experienced players.

We are still building our gane, I hope to see steady improvement.

Our depth is much better this season, we have more depth and more quality.

But we don't have quality that can match the Panthers at this stage.

I'm still looking forward to playing them in round 6. Hopefully both sides are undefeated or have only lost 1 game, we get a bjg crowd and they get us over the line for a win.

In a intense contest effort and desire close a bit of the quality gap.

Interesting changes this week, the games against Canberra were a bit of a bashathon. We have a few guys out jnjured / suspended.

Toups starting a prop this week is a plus and i have been thinking about what it would take to win a comp.

Some have suggested Burto at right centre, i think that move would be ok late in the game with Burto defending on the wing and playing centre in attack Woods or Teaupa could replace Burto at 5/8.

Team line up..
1. Tracey
2. Kiraz
3. Critter (left)
4. Tuala/Xerri
5. Sua (left)
6. Burto
7. Galvin.
8. Toups
9. Hayward
10. Thompson
11. Kiks
12. Presto
13. Hopoi/Latu/Todd/Salmon

14. Woods/O'Sullivan
15. King
16. Hayes/Underhill
17. Hopoi/Latu/Todd/Salmon/Curran

19. Mann/Turpin/Young
20. Teaupa/Readon

Woods, Teaupa and Young are young players who can provide a spark off the bench and win a game.

If we get to activate an 18th man, that kind of player can be handy.
If we pick Readson, he can cover centre and backrow.

Woods / O'Sullivan can fill in briefly at hooker.

I am aiming for more points scoring ability and more presence in the starting pack.
