2025/26 UEFA Champions League

No better morning for a Spurs hate watcher than what we just saw in Madrid.

Spurs are a shambles. Even A-league clubs that have folded were run better.

Don’t know how Spurs survive relegation given this level of confidence and nobody to turn to.
 
Bodo/Glimt currently leading Sporting CP 3-0 in the second half of their Champions League round of 16 first leg game. PSG also leading Chelsea 3-2, and Manchester City 3-0 down against Real Madrid on the road.
 
The PSG v Chelsea game was a cracker....

Could easily have been 7-4

well this is finally a LFC I recognise this leg.
Dominate,win midfield battles,linking,MO zest - what a friggin goal from outside of old !
Split defense's open, Ekitike is superb on the ball and movement up front.
Missed quite a few goals 1st half but made up for it 2nd half.
 
Spurs having a big love in for Tudor now.

This is after getting a point against a hapless Liverpool and scraping a dead rubber at home to Atleti.

Good result for Liverpool, still in the conversation for a major trophy.
 
well good luck to Spurs mind you knocked out.

Not quite sure how that happened but this used to be the normal default style for Liverpool but what a breath of fresh air that was
Great performance from the reds but Galatasaray were dog-shyte and resorted to shithouse tactics with all the 'injury' antics seriously that could have easily been a 7-0 win. Szoboszlai is a Rolls Royce of a midfielder and is having a fantastic season his goals are always bangers, nice to see Wirtz on the left and not Gakpo which added a bit more flair, the whole team was on fire but it begs the question where has this intensity been all season .........now we need to get even with PSG for last season!!
 
PSG has 4 Portuguese players including imo the best midfielder in the world in Vitinha, who I hope will light up the WC for Portugal.

So no surprise, I'm cheering for PSG.

its like we suddenly woken up from a unexplained coma.
Even though they played the dogged lay on the ground acts I think we beat them mentally on the pitch from the get go hence the play acting.
Szobo already has POTS - he is in the peak of his trade Thank christ for that.
That was left peg that goal - then he had a right foot curving thunder bolt saved - hitting them with such power/accuracy.
Yer Wirtz done well, as did Kerkez thats the game we've waited on, MO, I had fears the missed pen but man, he switched ON finally this game hope he continues.
Hope not injured - his 50th CL goal first african doing so.
Play to this level we can do psg.

Thats what you get when the top 5 qualify for the champions league - infact this whole new concept of the champions league draw opens up too many of these blow-out scores Im not a big fan - much preferred the old format - teams had to perform to get through the group stages otherwise they were out now all you need to do is finish in the top 16 it just makes a mockery of the comp in the early stages.The only 3 teams from England that deserve to be in it are Liverpool Arsenal and Man City the rest are all very average hence the blow out scores

Old format also makes the UEFA Cup more competitive with 3rd dropping down.

Football has become too woke with all the participation ribbons being handed out.
