NPL 2026

A weakened Hellas team taking on Green Gully tonight, so a draw might be a good outcome for us. Most first team players on OFC Pro League duties in the Solomon Islands.

A draw against a Gully that has only scored twice all season and copped 10? Ill take a 0-1 win but a draw is a failure tonight.

@Beretta “They are on a suspended sentence anything “bad” they do supposed to lose 6 points” is this true ?
As I've said, the last time we were on a suspended sentence was 2023.

Im unaware of any current suspended sentences over our heads.

There have been flares lit in the Australian Cup but thats two different competitions.

Big win for Hellas last night over Green Gully. Only had 4 senior players, and the rest of the squad were comprised of U23 players. Keeper made some big saves to keep us in it. Green Gully are terrible and will likely be one of the three teams to be relegated.

We still remain equal top of the ladder for another week.

Any action off the park?
I know it’s not what you’re referring to specifically, but looked a good atmosphere overall. Flares lit at one point, I believe the fence also collapsed when the players went to celebrate with the fans as well, player seemed like he got hurt. Hopefully knights can get back up where they belong, off field factors aside there’s no doubt their rightful position in the Australian soccer ecosystem is amongst the clubs in the aus championship. Good to see such strong support in the early rounds of the season, seemed to have a good away contingent at Brunswick juventus too. As I’ve said before, only silver lining for them going down is that might give them a chance to reset and start getting some consistent wins, rebuilding a winning culture/some momentum Ala Preston as opposed to just “existing” down the bottom half of the ladder year after year

Marco Jesic 300th game for Marconi today, a rare feat nowadays in the modern era. Say what you will but it shows great mental strength to keep going deep into your 30s whilst working a physical job outside of football and supporting a large family and to keep yourself in that physical condition and keep performing. Good on him
