Wellington Phoenix scoreless against Perth Glory at the half in the first game of a doubleheader at the Cake Tin, with the home side having five shots to two, of which one was on target compared to the visitors' none.
 
Great win by the Nixs, didn’t think we could get it done but in the end we managed to dick Glory. 3 away matches on the trot now so points are gonna be hard to get. I doubt we get into the 6 but hopefully we stay clear of the spoon.
 
man that was hard to watch as a glory person , they were so flat but massive credit phoenix that deserved that from that start

Auckland are gonna play a new formation from what I hear to break down the Jets. Still think it will be a draw but if I’m wrong then Auckland will dick the Jets to get closer to winning the league once again.
 
Clayton taylor coming off hurt the jets, but Mitizuma just killed the jets

I think I saw 5 promising attacks killed by a poor first touch from him followed by the repetitive "poor first touch from mitizuma". I don't watch him too often, but looked a step below Jets quality
 
Auckland just to good at holding on. Was a great game to watch. 1 point the difference with 5 games to go. Can the Jets hold,on to top spot?

ccm starting to get a fun starting xi again

good to see eames start, the only 2008 born player to hold starting sports for extended periods

did I just see a bad game or is mitizuma a weak link in your time. The amount of promising attacks only to hear "Poor first touch by mitizuma" and the attack was dead....probably about 5 good chances killed in 30 minutes?

Yeah he is cactus. The injury and old Father Time has made him a hindrance I think. Was fuming when he came on. Not just what you’ve described, which is true, he’s also butchered some chances during our unbeaten run where he could have put games well to bed. Love him, great bloke, but I think he’s done.
 
CCM outplayed by Adelaide but still get a point.Bad mistake by the Adelaide keeper gifted Ngor a goal( reminiscent of the Tottenham reserve keeper's horror show in the UEFA Cup match against Athletico Madrid during the week).Redmayne on top form for the Mariners.

The above are why I always say that Australian football could not sustain a longer season. We still have four complete rounds to go, and things will continue to get worse.

There's a ln argument if players play more game then there transfer value goes up more? Dunno if that's true
