Matilda's abroad

Winonah Heatley at the Women's Asian Cup with the Matildas and not in the matchday squad altogether for AS Roma in their Coppa Italia Femminile semi-final first leg game against Inter.

No game time for Morgan Aquino, who was not in the matchday squad altogether for DC Power in their 1-1 USL Super League draw with Dallas Trinity as she's at the Women's Asian Cup with the Matildas.

Leia Varley played the entirety of Nurnberg's 2-1 Frauen-Bundesliga loss to SC Freiburg.
Doesn’t look like she had a great game but I’m so happy that she played the full game. She’s got some good potential especially given her height (184cm tall, way above the average female height!).

Mackenzie Arnold at the Women's Asian Cup with the Matildas and not in the matchday squad altogether for Portland Thorns in their NWSL opening day game against Washington Spirit.

Hayley Raso at the Women's Asian Cup with the Matildas and not in the matchday squad altogether for Eintracht Frankfurt in their Frauen-Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen.

Annalise Rasmussen still not registered on the Juventus playing list yet but if she's training with them then she should be registered in the coming days.
Juve play tomorrow so I guess she’ll play next week assuming she isn’t registered yet and has passed the deadline?

Either way I’m glad she’s safe after being stuck in Doha. Good to see she made it to Turin.

Courtney Nevin and Amy Sayer’s Malmö are officially out of the Svenska Cupen. Group 3 has concluded and Amy’s old side Kristianstad have officially won the group and advanced to the semi-finals.

It’s a surprise loss, especially since KDFF’s squad was much stronger last season yet they failed to advance by one goal in an easier group, and get they’ve now got a weaker squad and won a group with Malmö in it.

Kaitlyn Torpey at the Women's Asian Cup with the Matildas and not in the matchday squad altogether for Newcastle United in their WSL 2 game against Sheffield United.

No Margaux Chauvet but Valadares Gaia got a huge result, drawing 2–2 away with Benfica.

What has happened to Vine? I thought she was a shoo-in for the Matildas.
We'd expect Cortnee Vine to be getting more game time this season for North Carolina Courage under their new head coach but if she ends up not getting valuable minutes then it may be better for her to move elsewhere.
