Note the Melbourne City v Sydney FC Round 21 game was played on Jan 3rd. Result was a 0-0 draw.
Not sure if that was considered a football game though. We didn’t seem to play at all. Maybe that’s just me playing “no true Scotsman” though.

You're not wrong. Just had a look at the stats from that game. 39% possession. 7 total shot (4 on target). 1 big chance. 2 corners. Only 3 fouls committed which considering SFC didn't have possession shows they really didn't put up much of fight.

Roar 1 v 1 WSW Crowd 3k
Nix 2 v 1 Glory Crowd 4K
CCM 1 v 3 AUFC Crowd 2k
Jets 2 v 2 AFC Crowd 12k
Vuck 3 v 1 Bulls Crowd 8k

Geez would love a jetties win for a smidge of breathing room
It might be an interesting 6 games.

Jets and Auckland 1st and 2nd both play each other and then positions 3-7. They could both come crashing back to the field and be passed - or one or both can show their position is warranted.

Spoken like an old and bitter Gypo, Pat:p
Nope - I will give you old - forget the rest. I'm been around long enough to see a lot happen. i.e. When the Mariners won their first premiership in 2008 three other teams could have won the premiership that weekend and were favoured. At the end of the weekend we were premiers.

I did give the fact that both either the Jets and Auckland can show their position is warranted.

6 weeks to go - playing the 6 teams closest to you is not a sure thing. Let's assume Sydney beats you as they go 6 in a row and finish on 51 points. Then you have to get 11 points from 15 to finish on 51 points. That's 3 wins and 2 draws. Possible - but not a sure thing.

If you lose or draw to Auckland on the weekend then the whole thing tightens up.

Any reckon Roar will turn the tide and win tonight? I can’t see Roars football ugly getting over WSW. But WSW are there own worse enemy and always collapse in the 2nd half.

How wsw managed to let that game slip from their grasp. Before the equaliser I wouldn’t have been shocked if it would end up 5 or 6. After the equaliser the apple crumbled. Looked off to me. Thurgate really needs to come home.
