I've watched that Cahill challenge against Japan and I did super slow mo. The Japan player begins a simulation fall knowing the ball was dead. He puts his entire weight on his left? leg and does a sort of twist to fall to the floor. The ref was blind and terrible that day. Interestingly no Japan player claimed a penalty there. Perhaps it appeared cleaner nearer by.

Yes, the stubbornness of Bert in 2018 probably made the difference between being competitive and actually winning a game there.
 
I went for the China goal simply because we had the game in our hands but no-one other than Cahill looked like scoring. Given the circumstances, it paved the way for the ultimate triumph, so I gave it the big tick, and I was there (but that really didn't matter :)).
 
can't go past the 2014 volley, the angle recieved watching the ball come to you whilst running, timing of the volley is to die for.

How many takes would you need to do to replicate it - some never would no matter the tries.
