Yeah that's why I don't like all the harsh criticism of the bottom teams, the league is so close you only need a few points and you're back up there again. None of the teams are a joke or wasting space. I know the little media we have need to cover it, but they do look silly a week later when those teams start winning again. A-League is like Melbourne weather, just wait 5 minutes for the change.
 
Honestly been out of the loop, what changed at the Mariners specifically? I follow their games on ticker but don't know the exact details.
 
Good to see Mariners in the top 6, hopefully they can get a good crowd for Adelaide but 3pm on a Saturday is an awkward time.

Nixs doing well, playing 5 at the back is different but then again it’s Adelaide so I see why there more defensive. Nix need to score 2 more goals to put the game to bed but I think the pissants will cum back stronger in the 2nd half.
 
I’m happy with a point, new Adelaide would cum out strong in the 2nd half, I doubt we can hit the top 6 but hope it’s not the spoon this season.
 
The Nix defended quite well, Adelaide have a sound idea in how to break down a deep block like the Nix had but they didn’t quite execute it tonight.

Also is there a reason why Yull doesn’t play more through the middle? He’s so dangerous in between the lines he’s a bit wasted out wide.

Because he’s even more dangerous there, it gets him into goalscoring positions and it allows us to fit him, Muniz, Alagich and White all in the same team

Wellington Phoenix now second from bottom after their 1-1 draw with Adelaide United, level on 21 points with Perth Glory but with inferior for and against and could well be back in wooden spoon position at the conclusion of matchday 20 if Western Sydney Wanderers at least draw with Newcastle Jets on the road.
