Wait I don't understand shouldn't this be a bigger story then? How's this only coming out on podcast that gets a couple thousand viewsRumour going around at the time was that fat brown envelope appeared in a FFA persons hand and the state gov staffer was the sacrificial goat....
You think an alleged bribe to an FFA employee by a housing developer is "news"? Oh my sweet sweet boy.... Did you think the Werribee Wembley was "shovel ready" alsoWait I don't understand shouldn't this be a bigger story then? How's this only coming out on podcast that gets a couple thousand views
Agree, rumours lack credibility, as does Windleys comments around Dandenong City and Dandenong Thunder combining to create a ... checks notes... Super Dandenong.....Rumour mill stuff. About as much cred as something you maybe overheard in the pub over a lead guitar break.
So why post it then?Agree, rumours lack credibility, as does Windleys comments around Dandenong City and Dandenong Thunder combining to create a ... checks notes... Super Dandenong.....
Because, as per my post, it was a rumour. No more or less verifiable than Windley's rumour that South Melbourne sabotaged their bid... Or that an AFL "personality" approached someone from council supporting their bid and admonished them....So why post it then?
Not saying they are true or not, there is no way I can verify I wasnt there.... As for using the example of a Croatian club and an Albanian club "joining forces"... well that seemed sort of "pre prepared" to me...I wouldn't think Matt Windley would go around saying these things if they were not true. He was quite specific - without naming names, and he said the only reason he didn't name names is because he didn't want to get sued.
His Dandenong comment was just an example of another way in which grassroots clubs could become A-League clubs. He never said it would happen. Also Dandenong clubs were only used as an example. It's just a way it could happen.
I reckon one day it'll come out 95% of matches are rigged and we'll realize we wasted sooo much time on here and watching footballYou think an alleged bribe to an FFA employee by a housing developer is "news"? Oh my sweet sweet boy.... Did you think the Werribee Wembley was "shovel ready" also![]()
Yeah nah, Maybe some matches are rigged, but 95%????I reckon one day it'll come out 95% of matches are rigged and we'll realize we wasted sooo much time on here and watching football
Maybe in the lower leagues where there is a lack of cameras, you may get about 2% tops.Yeah nah, Maybe some matches are rigged, but 95%????
Nah, Ive seen some dodgy shit and matches clearly thrown but like you say.,,,, its a relatively small percentage..Maybe in the lower leagues where there is a lack of cameras, you may get about 2% tops.
Yeah just joking to be dramatic. But amazing how much corruption goes on in the world and this is only to do with sport imagine other organizationsYeah nah, Maybe some matches are rigged, but 95%????
It wouldn’t be a barrier at all. You’d just add the NZ national league to the NPL conference that sits below the championship.rumour.... but makes sense considering they wanted a "professional" team on the South Island... Wouldn't make sens to do it ONLY for the handful of matches for OFC pro league.
Plus it gives APL ANOTHER barrier to true pro/rel adding more NZ clubs in...
The Greenhouse effect, so the grass should be good all year round.marvellous rebuild good on them !
Mind you as a player I sure wouldn't like seeing all these "shadows" whilst I'm playing !
It maybe ok for eggball games but football ? certainly would play on some football players eyes.
I get the design nice feel transparent roof but ?..........

I don't think the shadows will make too much of a difference given that the roof at Te Kaha is retractable and most of the games will be played in the evening under lights anyway.Mind you as a player I sure wouldn't like seeing all these "shadows" whilst I'm playing !
