Promotion and Relegation is vital for Football in Australia

South Melbourne too, 2 seperate entities there.

ABN search on Sydney Croatia, would indicate something similar as well.

It makes sense, you won't be advised to hold risk and make a holdings group (kind of) but in turn, you become the Selco RIP Rangers meme.
South Melbourne Hellas SC and South Melbourne FC- two entities, one board, serving one membership group - no OWNERS. 2 or 3 ABN numbers associated with South Melbourne FC in order to comply with ATO around holidngs, liquor licensing etc as is usal for most non profit sporting clubs.... NOT a franchise fee paid to anyone, our name, colours, logo and IP ALL belong to the club and can be a vvote from a quorum of members. Our lease locks us in to Lakeside but we can geographically go wherever the hell we like, no need to ask Jims Mowing or McDonal'ds where or new franchise location is going to be.... Sorry matey, South is NOT a franchise, and if it EVER becomes one will no longert be the club I or many fellow members belong to. :)

IMO Australia has too much of a trend and winner following culture for any club to have some decent backing for 50+ years. You would assume that the clubs that were forced out of the top flight, would have such anger from supporters that they would turn up in numbers and force that connection in the planning of A-league etc but it never happened. People just move on from football here. It's cycical support.
Absoloutely, the fact that some of these fan bases stiolle xist even at this small amount is a bloody miracle Watch the scenes at Green Gully vs George Cross last week.... maybe only a thousand or so people there but the heartbeat is still ticking... its faint but still there... How many does Hakoa get these days?

Yes, a seperate entity had to be made for that. Not including all the business risk factors.

zero impact on the senior side or the existing entity beyond growth - agreed! but it was the death of the actual South Melbourne Hellas and a new entity named South Melbourne Hellas was made with the merger with Hakoah. No need to get your panties twisted bro.

Franchises all around, Aussie style.
License fee is paid by the club NOT an indivudal like in Olympics case mate.. there is a difference.

Except a franchise fee paid to the FA?

Still clutching at straws i see!
stupid is stupid clutching alright.
Fact is any sporting entity pays Club rego to its Association/Federation for plat in a competition world over..
As if anyone has called it a f fee - oh hang on a sfc follower does go figure for the sake of trying be come over right.

At what level do they pay a fee?

But it is a franchise fee, seperate entity license/holdings hence why Hanlin was stating that you can sell the license of the AUSC part of the club to someone else.

Asked and answered (over and over) even if you play too stupid to understand it.... keep battling away with the lies though champ, you have atleast convinced the AL event goers!
FYI Hanlin also thought he bought a Mcfranchise!

Everything asked has been answered lol Football here is 99% event goers, all clubs and leagues past and present.

YES for Syndye Olympic, sure as weve already mentioned... For whatever reason their club wasnt willing to enter the Aus Champs and Hanlin took over the financial cost of that entry (I think that may be the same for Wests APIA?) It is NOT the case at SMFC despite you insisting.

Compare the ratio between volunteers and actual so called supporters.
For 99% of the clubs around Australia the difference really isnt that much... Matchday is wives and girlfriends, the tuckshop lady, and the commitee draining pots in the club room.. maybe 1-2 locals...
