1980... Bergers won the end of season ginals thing but Sydney City finished champions fiorst past the post. The 4 team finals was just an end of season cup and to this day teh Bergers still claim it as a national title... poor things, always the bridesmaids...

NSL was first past the post until 1984 where it was a two legged final to decide the Champions, won by everybody's favourite club .... :)
