Not sure he will even make the world cup squad. The USA squad isn't short of its bust ups and drama. A lot of players have been tried. Hopefully the camp crumbles and they do a France 2010.

100% they will not top the group. If they make it out a R32 defeat is likely. They try to dominate possession and territory. They are playing 3 counterattacking teams that are fairly stingy in defence (Paraguay in particular). They play a high line and are susceptible to quick breaks from all three. Look at some of their games in friendlies. They body check, push in the back and tug shirts constantly in friendlies. At the World Cup the officiating will be a lot tougher than in friendlies.
Turkey will beat them on quality and top the group, probably inflicting a few goals on them. Apart from that the group will be close - but the clash of styles is what will hurt the US.
