NPL 2026

Solid crowd at St Albans Dinamo over the weekend for both the Geelong vs Knights & Dinamo vs Dandy.

i think during the course of the day, they had over 3,000 in attendance.
Crowd was DEAD tho. The only noise you heard was the commentators telling the kids at the bottom of the scaffolding to fuck off lmao
Was watching the NPN NSW highlights package on YouTube. It would be good if NPL Victoria had a similar highlights package as well.

I noticed a few grounds in NSW have synthetic pitches. Is that common in Sydney? You just never see that in Melbourne.
Yes, any time a new pitch gets built in Sydney it's a syntho.

The only teams that don't are Marconi (will never go syntho because they use it for touring teams to train on), Olympic (Bulldogs use Belmore) and Wolves. Plus a handful of teams in npl 2/3

Also because Marconi has multiple pitches to train on/for juniors to play on including synthetic ones and can protect the main ground for the first team. Almost no other clubs have that luxury at this level

Thats not necessarily a reflection of the noise live though... the NPL streams do a poor job reflecting the atmosphere at grounds... not blaming them due to lack of resources I suppose but anything more than 1500 at Churchill reserve is LOUD....

Don't forget St George FC.

I was at Churchill Reserve on Saturday very warm day, there was a decent atmosphere between Geelong v Knights, but i didn't stick around for the other game.

Doesnt the NPL video and audio crew have settings where it cancels out surrounding noise, i.e - crowds?

Not sure? I know that I will go home from a match thinking the atmosphere was great, only for it to be non exisitant on the replay.

Saturday at Avondale was like a library and its sounded even worse on the stream but other times, at Lakeside it is deafening on our side, and you cant pick up but a faint murmur on the stream

Round 3 Preview – NPL Men’s NSW

You have 13 games across the top 3 divisions in Victoria on Friday night. Would be fascinating to see an overall crowd count for the entire 13 games. People look at individual numbers but i reckon in total well over 10,000 will be at the games.
Big difference between Sydney and Melbourne. We only had 1 Friday game max.

Most are Saturdays and 2 on sunday.

Do Wanderers travel with actual 'lads' to Sydney Croatia or just the family/friends/normal supporters etc?

I could imagine that being a trouble fixture here and there.
