Confirmed btw that the extended spell of away games is due to the pitch at the Marconi club being relaid. Had assumed as much

South Melbourne the only team in NPL Victoria to not concede a goal at the conclusion of matchday 1, with the exception of the teams that played out scoreless draws this week.
Ridiculous there was no drinks break in the middle of an Australian summer. I play State League 3 and we’ve had drinks breaks in 3/3 preseason games for fucks sake
3pm in the middle of Feb is absolutely awful for players and spectators alike. Spent only a small portion of the game yesterday at Avondale in the sun and it still massacred me. Imagine running around in that!
