I just don't want to see Australia turn into a socialist/communist state like the old Yugoslavia, USSR & East Germany.

If you love Australia and want to live in a free democratic society you'd feel the same way.

My solution, because you asked for it remember, to reduce immigration (something you want remember) was to make housing more affordable so people have more kids. More kids = less immigrants, something you seem to be bang up for.

As I said, although perhaps you can't read, the money has to come from somewhere for housing, which I think is the major roadblock to young people having children so I suggested a few places we could get said money.

Now turbo if you can think of a better solution to reduce immigration, increase housing stock and make it affordable, offset the aging population and shrinking tax base and increase fertility I'm (and my boyfriend tsf) are all ears.

So I'll await sharkboy's proposals for:

  1. reduced immigration
  2. affordable housing
  3. a shrinking tax base and
  4. reduced fertility.

Take your time.

People are paying far too much tax in this country and you want people to be paying more?

We're already one of the most heavily taxed countries in the world and you want us paying more?

There needs to be a royal commission into government spending, the gross waste of funds by this government is ridiculous and is contributing to the cost of living crisis in this country.

The money Albo wasted on his vanity project, The Voice could've been spent on getting more public housing built.
