AA Pro-Rel Watch 2025/26

Telstar lost 4–1 to PEC Zwolle which puts Max Balard and NAC Breda in 16th on goal difference, meaning they are now outside the relegation zone. Ajdin Hrustić's Heracles Almelo still dead last though.

NAC have Excelsior next, then Heracles for an Aussie derby, then Volendam, then Telstar, then another Aussie derby with Jordy Bos' Feyenoord.
 
Portsmouth now out of the relegation zone thanks to a 3–0 win over West Brom. Blackburn lost 1–0 to Hull and are now in the relegation zone.

No one confirmed relegated yet of course. Except Wednesday (sorry RebFem), they're all but done for unless they pull 40 points out of their ass.

Blackburn Rovers three points from safety after West Brom also lost, and conversely at the top of the table Middlesbrough are now level on points with Coventry City and still in an automatic Premier League promotion spot, but with inferior for and against.
 
Alessandro Circati and Parma in 16th place on the Serie A ladder, six points safe from the relegation zone through 23 matchdays after a 4-1 loss at home to Juventus, their tenth of the season.
 
Raphael Borges Rodrigues and Tyrese Francois close to the League One relegation places with Wigan Athletic following the latest set of fixtures on February 3rd local time as they're currently 20th on the ladder and level on points with 21st and 22nd place, but with only superior for and against keeping them safe from the drop.

Blackburn with important 3 points to the diabolically bad Sheffield Wednesday.

We'll need to add Norwich to the watch list.

Can England go one season without a team getting docked points? Already happened this season with Wednesday too (who are still on –7 points).

As for Leicester they're now on 32 points and are surviving the drop by goal difference only. They'll be directly fighting with Blackburn and West Brom who are on the same points. Oxford are five points below those three (27 points) while again Wednesday are on –7 still. Wednesday would only finish 14th if they won all their remaining games.

Norwich are in good form and climbing up the ladder meanwhile Pompey are on 33 points which is level with Norwich but have two games in hand. Charlton and Swansea are relatively safe.

QPR are in a tricky spot because they always seem to be good enough to not go down but not good enough to go up. Millwall were like that for years too but they're now definitely chasing promotion.

Agree about Swansea, they're pretty safe from relegation but I can't see them making playoffs. It's all very much in play, other than obviously Boro and Coventry at least making playoffs and Wednesday going down.

I doubt RBR will play in the Prem, chances are he'll be loaned out again or sold. Nevertheless I think at least Boro will go up and hopefully another team with Aussies too. Hopefully the teams that go up actually invest like they did this season, the past two seasons none of them did and thus it was the same 17 teams with three new ones that went back down straight away.

It seems unlikely that all of NAC, Heracles, den Haag and Roda will find themselves in Eredivisie next season. Best outcome for me would be Heracles, den Haag and Roda with Balard finding a new club in Eredivisie or another top division in Europe. Prefer Heracles to stay up given Hrustic and purpoted arrival of Kikianis, which perhaps could be put in jeopardy if they go down. Also, Heracles have a manager that knows the AL and sees opportunities here, it seems.

Still a chance. Agree about Max though, surely he could stay in the Eredivisie.
