Football Victoria has not published any articles for the new season starting in 2 weeks ! Just some Facebook/Instagram posts.

It definitely feels like a step back compared to last year. The name misspellings and just the fact that the articles don't really say anything makes it easy to think they were rushed out. At that point you're better off just doing the Season Preview and leaving it at that.
 
anyway the BS stops in just over a week finally.
Looking forward back to football season.

what are the fees by the local associations to play park football at let's say Leichhardt, St George district, Sutherland district?

Southern Districts Football Soccer Association who fund and run SD Raiders have upped their fees for the 2026 season by a considerable margin, $130-$160 extra and we all know why, they need to fund their first-grade squad who are in our league this season.

So, our Seniors at Sydney United (association football) Premier League, Reserve League, Alliance League, All Ages Men's, over 35s paid in 2025 $600 rego fee which is a combination break down to Football Australia, FNSW, SDSFA, Sydney United, Insurances etc.

Well for this season its now $800, and our club's communication was that SDSFA have upped their fees.

Im trying to find out if this effects our juniors (Under 5's to 16's) or only seniors, my guess would be it's through all ages top to bottom.

i also went onto Myfootball.com to find the cost breakdown and couldn't find anything.

i'm interested to see if other districts have upped their fees as well?

SDSFA can get fucked.

Holy fck that’s ridiculous

Last year at SGFA I think similar to 120-160

All up at Rockdale ilinden association it was around $550

This year I’m at the Bankstown Comp I think the same around $500 not sure how much they are pocketing yet

But SDFA can get fkd that’s bad

looks like the SDSFA fee has hit all clubs from bottom up.

The irony is that SD Raiders' squad doesn't even seem that good for the extra cost. Hiking up fees just to be one and done would be pretty embarrassing.

That sounds like a lot of money for club football. I'm not sure. I was under the impression that it was between $300-400.

you can see how poor their articles and knowledge is when we actually kept Farah Koko & Koya Nakano for 2026, not departed.

now that's reasonable, and very similar to what we had last season, which was $600, but our club charges $200 which includes home kit, away kit, tracksuit etc.

that $200 is for the NPL squad or the teams in PL or AA ?
