New NPL ITK account it seems, this is not true at all though so whatever it says I wouldn't take notice. In fact they are now allowed to freely sign players for the upcoming season.

Its because teams don't want to go to Bathurst. Its the same reason Wagga Wagga was kicked out. Clubs don't want to fork out the travel and accommodation (sometimes twice a year) and players were complaining.

right approach thats for sure.
Now IF only Bulls didn't get Northbridge that could have been another North NPL Club as it was originally.
Manly area trouble is Clubs don't seem to want to step out of Association comps - Pittwater for eg - always been a good strong local Club.
Have played against them at Prem1 levels and later my son has vs'd them pre season games, alot of good talent - Manly can take only what they can fill so there is plenty capable players to step up.

Wasn't saying there should be a Bathurst or Wagga team (Wagga voluntarily left to ACT at the time).

I'm saying it's been 5 years and they haven't done anything to add a 16th team instead of having a stupid bye.

Wonder IF they approached any Clubs to step up ?


On another side re Raiders.
Used to go to Ernie Smith some years back - obviously the new syn pitch to be used you'd think ?????
