I have been reading this article by Deb Verhoeven, who did a thesis in the late 2000's/early 2010's about the history of Greek Cinema within Australia.

On page 26 the author summarises the views of a particular researcher named Kevin Cork, who was insufficiently sympathetic (to say the least) towards the recent wave of Greek migrants. Kevin Cork was using terms such as 'enclaves' and '(not) integrating'.

Sound familiar? Hehe

Great bit of nostalgia, remember those hazy smoke filled screenings at the Astor, Westgarth and Paramount well...
