My eleven of Green at 5, with Murphy/ Rocky instead of Usman is looking good.Green is looking more composed with the bat today after being unlucky with the ball. Is the fact he has struggled this series because he is battling his mind. Hearing that he will earn some $3m in IPL wont help that mind set either. I always maintain that half of being good at sport is played in the head. Green has to overcome any mental demons if he is to be the special cricketer some of us believe he will be.
Yes he does sometimes. Sorry didn’t see your post, Baggers.I asked you this the other day.
There was 1 big turner from Jacks that worried him. Close LBW.beau webster looking really uncomfortable against spin early on

This test is a big opportunity for Webster and Green to cement their spots.Good wrap!
Glad you attended live.
Huge crowd!
I think Weathers, playing for Tas, my home state, has been found out at Test level. He crouches low, with his head too far over off to pitched up balls. I don’t think he deserves a continued spot.
The Poms think our collective batting has been suspect for a while. Only a brilliant bowling attack has papered over the batting cracks. We have 3 of the 4 bowling greats injured ATM.
Neser has taken wickets, but maybe late order?
Actually I was impressed with Green with bat and ball. That shot won't win green a lot of fans, seems very annoyed with himself
getting out just as the sting is going out of the bowling
I have watched Webster play a lot of Shield cricket. The consummate all rounder - great slip fielder, batter, medium- fast pace bowler and finger spinner.I think Webster has proven himself quite well this test. He would be dissappointed he didn't get more overs.
I can't believe Inglis was selected above Webster either? This test is a big opportunity for Webster and Green to cement their spots.
Green has already done enough, but one on 2 second innings wickets will help. I was happy with his bowling and batting.
Webster is pretty solid with the bat. IMO is bowling is handy enough on flat wickets. But on a wicket with seam, uneven bounce or spin ne might take a wicket or 2.
70 runs with the bat and 3-40 with the ball might press his case. The pitch is starting to offer assistance. I don't consider the pom spinners to be genuine frontline spinners, but they were getting turn and were hard to play at times. If Webster is any kind of spinner he is a chance.
IMO Green + Webster = 1.3 batmen and 1.3 - 1.5 bowlers depending on how well Webster can bowl spin.
Potts and Webster have the same issue not much bowling recently.
I still don't understand why Ingliss was selected ahead of Webster.
I think Green had a good innings, increasing from 77% controlled shots to 88%.Actually I was impressed with Green with bat and ball.
IMO the ball surprised him, but if he fully comitted to the shot even a miss-hit might have cleared the fielder.
The idea was good, he misread the ball, or the ball did something unusual.
Green is performing better than his stats in this test.
Carey was the guy that got out to due to a bad decision,
