The Sydney FC Thread

Forgot to say this before but there's a fourth episode of the We Are Sydney podcast out on YouTube. It's with close mates and former Houston Dash teammates Maddy Ayson and Heather Hinz (both American but Maddy plays for the Philippines).

Great episode, definitely recommend it and the whole podcast if you haven't seen it yet (they do episodes every fortnight I think, they've already done Ufuk Talay, Joe Lolley and Rhyan Grant episodes)!
 
Game on the weekend had everything, bushfires, lightning, torrential rain, train line and road closures and the game delayed by an hour.

 
How shit was Sydney against Newcastle on the weekend. Piss poor effort. Nice goal from the young Newcastle player.

 
SFC women's game postponed along with the Men's game due to an unacceptable pitch at Leichhardt oval. Women's game re-arranged for Wednesday February 4th 2026. Men's TBA.
