Well when you see goals going last Martinez, Sanchez and Allison of late you'd think, shouldn't they be saving those? Why are they ball watching or fumbling? So so confusing.

Would u put souttar wide right?
Yep, I agree the ideal three CBs at this stage if fit would be Souttar, Circati and Burgess. Obviously Burgess in LCB as left footed but I do think Circati in the centre with Souttar at RCB may likely be a better combination than Circati at RCB and Souttar centrally. For reasons mentioned in previous post.

Scratch the 8.8 it upgraded to a 9.4 for Ryan.

Key moments. On 52 and flurry of moments. A great low diving stretch save from shot edge of box. Sevilla come again and it's a good catch from a close range flick and then a two hand bat against a tricky dipping long rang shot.

The best is saved until the end. Sevilla penalty and Ryan can save with his trailing legs. It goes right back to the shooter who heads straight forward and Ryan manages to move the other direction like an eel to parry it away.
Our Captain! 😍

Circati has been playing RCB for Parma and doing really well. I watched his game last week and he did really well in that position.

I wonder if Rowles is the better fit at LCB. It gives the back 3 more mobility and coverage for Bos. But then you miss Burgess long balls.

We all assume Souttar will be good to go but it wouldn't surprise me if he isn't and the back 3 ends up being Circati - Burgess - Rowles.

On Robertson, it’s interesting that since he transferred to Cardiff he’s been playing exclusively DM, as when he was at Portsmouth he was played as a #10.

I wonder if Popa sees him as a DM option next to Irvine, or as an advanced #10 in those Irankunda / McGree positions.
Has to be DM in Popovic's system. That in itself works as a DM who can progress the ball.

Probably our best starting xi for poppas system

---------------------------------Ryan---------------------------------
------------Circati--------Souttar-------Burgess------------
-Silvera-----------Robbo--------Irvine----------Bos--------
--------------Mcgree------Toure----------Metcalf/Volpato*-

I put strong ball players near silvera and strong defenders near bos. I think Bos combines beautifuly with metcalf

Then subs would be irankunda, Oniell, Balard, Sapsford and maybe vellupilay?

*If available
If we can get Volpato, that's a pretty good team
