One flying undet the radar a bit is Oscar Priestman. Not getting a tonne of minutes but mostly doing pretty well when given an opportunity, as he did this morning from what I've read. Johnny K getting plenty of game time and also having a good season. Stama hasn't worked out as hoped but 2 outta 3 ain't bad, as the song goes. A popular consensus is that this manager has Motherwell playing the most attractive football in the league, atmMotherwell just did Hearts and Devlin a big favour.
I'm sure he could do a job if given the chance, but for me Italiano has looked the best in the RWB slot and with Miller also an option can't see Johnny getting a gig considering he would be new to Poppa's system at this stage.Koutroumbis a WC smokey?
If Strain is being touted as an option, I guess you'd have to throw Johnny K into the mix as well. I've put a line through Baccus after his injury, not that I think Poppa was ever going to select him. The one I'm coming back to now is Karacic, who my instinct has been that he's a better rwb than rb but I don't know how he's been going this season. I'd be interested in the opinions of anyone who follows the Croatian league.Koutroumbis a WC smokey?
Will probably be adding Brady back to that list soon too
A couple of clubs are called Police FC tooSome great club names of workplaces or institutions around the world. Stationery Stores! Malaysia has Immigration FC. They have a solid number of imports.
We now officially own the Solomon Islands!
The biggest fail this season has got to be Milanovic at Aberdeen. I, like many others, were pushing for his inclusion in Socceroos squads over the last year and a half, due to his form at the Wanderers, but has been nowhere in ScotlandSapsford boyle iredale priestman start

Going off Sofascore stats it looks like he's been good when he gets played but he's only played 11/18 games (seven stars, averaging 60 minutes per game and having scored one goal but he did make Team of the Week once) for Hajduk Split this season. If he can solidify his spot in the starting 11 then yeah I'd be willing to call him up.If Strain is being touted as an option, I guess you'd have to throw Johnny K into the mix as well. This season at Aberdeen is yet another example why the lower clubs in the Scottish premiership are not normally a good development ground for proving yourself on the continent. It is often a scrap for points every weekend and when the going gets tough Scots will always toss the Aussie under the bus than a fellow Scotsman. The biggest fail this season has got to be Milanovic at Aberdeen. Besides Celtic, Hearts (this season) and Rangers the Premiership is mostly EFL Championship quality. Celtic and Rangers would need a miracle to even touch European football if they got their wish and joined the Premier League. Celtic's Champions League qualification via the playoffs (which they didn't even get this season since they lost to Qairat from Kazakhstan) and their otherwise high profile for multiple reasons (fan culture, domestic trophies, etc) has elevated profile of the Premiership. I really hope Hearts do shake things up this year (same goes for Lens in Ligue 1) just to see a different winner for once. This season at Aberdeen is yet another example why the lower clubs in the Scottish premiership are not normally a good development ground for proving yourself on the continent. I think if not in first division Belgium or Swiss etc then our players leaving the A-league should be looking more to second divisions eg Dutch, German
We are typing in English, not in their native language. Do we also write “ Brasil “ ?Also guys kinda unrelated but since we all pronounce their names right can we please in 2026 start to spell the names of Yugoslav (well, ex-Yugoslav) footballers right? Not complaining (also not Slavic myself) just think it's best if we spell their names right. Fran Karačić, Nicolas Milanović, Daniela Galić, Alana Jančevski, Josip Šimunić, Miloš Degenek, Christian Pulišić, Luka Modrić, etc? If it's at the end of the name then ch is ć, if not it's č.
The Dutch second tier is literally a lower standard than the ALThis season at Aberdeen is yet another example why the lower clubs in the Scottish premiership are not normally a good development ground for proving yourself on the continent.
