Given that Kisnorbo took them from Ligue 1 down to Ligue 2 and was acked before he took Troyes into Ligue 3, there is no chance that Kisnorbo would grace a CFG club again.
Melbourne City are being strange. They have announced lots of departures but few, if any, arrivals. They are one of the least communicative clubs in the AL but even for them this is strange. And they have not updated their web page either.
Not sure on the 'greedy' bit. Years ago there was a BR youth player who quit altogether because he said that wages were barely living wages (IIRC). There is a balance where professional players have to earn enough to sustain them through their careers and immediately post career. Otherwise the...
Dukuly shows flashes of brilliance and there are games where he was pivotal for AU. But, to me he lacks consistency and that also means that he is not an automatic starter, as AU have shown. Impact player, maybe.
I think the major issues with the LWB is that the potential contenders have been hampered with injuries or lack of game time. And now that JBos is injured, for who knows how long, we don't have that much depth but have players with potential.
You just reminded me of an article in The Economist magazine about 20 years ago. The gist was that American football is socialist whilst European football is ultra capitalist.
Are people referring to style of leadership or leadership itself? "Strong-man" style like Paul Keating or Jeff Kennet vs the "everyman" like Hawke or Howard? Albo is the latter whilst Dutton is the former. For the record I prefer the Keating/Kennet style.
I think that you have the players the wrong way around. Tilio had the bigger engine when at MC and played for the full 90+ minutes of ten tracking back. Arzani, rarely did that and when he was at the Bulls he was rarely back in defence. At MV his stamina improved and did track a bit more and the...
The English, Irish and Scots have been there since colonial times (The Cilean Vice-roy had the surname O'Higgins and he was a Catholic fleeing persecution from the Protestants, teh Scots went over en masse to teh America's when Bonnie Price Clyde got scared and English pirates were the norm)...
There is a dependency on when Herrington transfers out of CR. If he gets sold within the next 18 months for say $15M or higher then my comments stand. For that sort of money CR may well find suitable replacements for a lower price.
