The truly odd thing is that back in the 70s a lot of people (mostly retired and heavy gamblers) would watch horse racing. But these days I only know one bloke who actually follows horse racing. I wonder whether the figures include pubs (the only place I know of that shows horse racing).

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 24

Dellbridge is not that young! and he doesn't have the game reading ability that Souprayen has.

I stopped watching the derby at half time. That was one of the worst refereeing performances this season. Quispe and his simulation just snapped me. Grant should have been on a yellow.

Arzani does some really good work but his shooting for goal is the same as mine. AND yes I am bitter that he gets to call himself a professional player and I can't. Rant over. Back to the game, how he missed two shots defines his career.

During the defamation court case, his commanding officer testified against him. His commanding officer was never able to get the military witnesses to testify. The officer corps knew but they couldn't break the code of silence. BTW his commanding officer is a bloke named Andrew Hastie. And as a...

Would he? I thought that the game against Cameroon & Curacao were official FIFA games thus locking him in.

    A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 23

Just finished watching the MC vs WSW game. I will add Jai Rose to my list of U23 players to watch. Also, I am curious as to the lineup for MC - I am sure they will be rotating players but I wonder who, specially now with Younis missing due to the red card.

Managed to catch the first 20 minutes of City vs WSW and I don't think that Arzani will be on the plane to the WC with the caveat that Popa is coaching the NT. Not sure when his loan ends but I doubt that Ferencvárosi TC will need him back.

I thought that Arzani was on loan from some European club. And Arzani has had a storied career. Ferreyra can't be on much coin as he was plucked from the Russian 2nd division. So given his age, maybe MVC are offering more money and since City are a development club they may be unwilling to match it.

Newcastle Jets? what happened during the break? At times they could not string two passes together. And often when they did the ball was hit too hard for the receiver that he had to stop to control the ball or it was too far in front of just behind them. That was the real issue.

Not surprised about the Arzani rumour. German Ferreyra is another issue though, once he found his footing he has been solid although this season he has had a few clangers. More importantly he is the hard man for MC.

    Socceroos vs Cameroon/ Curaçao March 2026 🇦🇺🇨🇲🇨🇼

Herrington at LCB. Herrington can play both LCB & RCB, has speed and reads the game well. Rest him from the 75 minute mark and put Burgess on. Assuming that the formation remains a back 3.
