No one was talking about permanent residents, I was talking about foreign citizens who are here only on visas. There's been a lot of hullabaloo in the past few years of people losing out at auctions to foreign investors, the latter should be outright banned from owning property in this country.

Nonsense comment. Canada (which ironically has been under a left-wing government for years) has always had a ban on foreign nationals so what part of my comment do you disagree with? Play the ball.

I've always been of the belief that only Australian citizens should be allowed to buy property in this country. This government has totally sold out Australian citizens to chase foreign citizens in an attempt to curry-favour them to secure their vote once they get citizenship. It's a joke.
