What can I say, I'm a sucker for the little people. AFL is a tiny sport beloved by a city at the arse end of the world, maybe gave the Greeks in Melbourne something to follow during the World Cup.

Unlike you I have no ill malice of other sports, they are sports, my issue with AFL is with its administration bullying other sports and their media and fans ramming down our throats about its greatness, yes it's great in Melbourne, but it's a niche sport in Sydney despite its money and media.

Yes I agree 100%, the domestic football is plaqued by agendas, poor administration, victim mentality for the 50 years I have followed this game locally. I'm talking football in general, not the top tier of football in this country.

I believe that football is bigger than AFL in Sydney and easily so. In pubs. Cafes, work offices i hear more talk of their football teams playing on weekend, the O/S teams, the Socceroos. The Matildas then any talk of Swans or AFL. Yes NRL is king in Sydney but football, not A- League is also...
