Sounds like both sources are factual. His is got something to do with the playing group, and mines a board member. Both pretty much straight from the horses mouth.

I have confidence in them they'll work something out. If we have to withdraw, oh well that sucks but its not the end of the world. I'd rather we withdraw than play and not pay our players.

Unfortunately no i have not heard anything. I am just a casual supporter, i have nothing at all to do with the club, i only sometimes get gossip about south melbourne as a relative of mine is a board member.

I guess from my perspective, i don't mind the groups? I'd like a good mixture of atleast 1 Melbourne club in our group and 1 Sydney club and 1 Adelaide/brisbane. If my teams group was Avondale/south melb/Preston Sydney Olympic/ Sydney united Adelaide city/Lions I'd be very happy with that.
