Yep, exactly as Oranges mentioned. Would have been perfect. Seems they may have missed the boat with the other development mentioned in the shared article. Imagine being able to get to the stadium via train and via the ring road. It would have been easier to access a potential stadium there...

If there are groups willing to invest in the A-league, starting fresh is the model. Some key questions and answers though: Is Western Melbourne a desirable area for a team - Yes Should a professional team be using ironbark fields as a training base - Yes Are there other regions of the country...

It might be a bit reactive, but I would expect all of the other 3 i mentioned to be on par or past him in terms of the next world cup

Jets getting a fee for Taylor is a great result for them. I wouldn't be shocked if they just netted close to 2 Million AUD from these two players.

What are we expecting Eli Adams transfer fee to be?

WMG need to be removed from the equation. They need to be wound up entirely. If it's going to be privately funded, then get proper businesses and proper people involved. There is demand for a stadium in the region. Whether it is government funded or private, doesn't really matter. Personally...

Forget hibernation or whatever it is they are calling it. Can the whole thing. Sell the licence to Canberra or Sunshine coast. Add in the next licence at the same time to get to 14 teams. Revisit Western Melbourne in 10 years when it is ready. Let Wyndham council do whatever they want with...

How in the world is there still a pulse?? Surely the vote to approve the development doesn't get through. Just give Ironbark fields in its current state to an NPL team and move on.

Thats great but what are the numbers??

The answer is they know they can likely rely on SMFC delivering crowds around 10k per week every week. Thats enticing because the majority of expansion teams in the A-league have been failures. Canberra won't happen.
