F$%k Rugari and anyone like him, his hypocritical biased bullshit opinion means less to me than any other 'plastic promoter'.. if i had my way he'd be paying tickets in full, no free rides for the pseudo reporter he is or left out altogether! End of day he can tell us why we have to beat Mcity AFC bumper crowd of, wait for it... 1470 odd to be successful when they cant? The so called professionals! Anything above that and we sweet with that tosser id say and all those vocal dimwhits setting the bar higher than their league... half the aleague clubs dont get that average! We expect it across the league? If we get it it should be stipulated they get closed down once and for all or pay us for the right to join!

Don’t have time for online arguments over nothing but fire away if you must.

I reread that article. What’s wrong with it? It clearly states the facts without any bias. The comments are a bit meh but that has nothing to do with the writer.

Yeah im curious too, i do remember seeing the occasional tweet that raised an eyebrow, so might be a case where his form counts against people reading him charitably?

I suppose it sneaks in some of the apl perspective as fact, though it is a bit subtle. In particular the perspective that an nst would require the fa to fund it, when it is alleged by the article that the fa will take a more hands on role with the struggling apl.
The aafc perspective of course is that the nst should do whatever standards the clubs can do, rather than ask the clubs to meet arbitrary standards, and it would cost the fa nothing.

He was right-ish that the nst didnt go ahead, since we have a cl rather than an nst. It doesnt yet seem the case, at least not yet, that the fa are taking over the apl, let alone funding it apart from mysterious debts. I guess like a lot of articles of his, it gives the pro apl perspective as fact

Elsewhere on twitter he said some things that seemed a bit trollish - like the cl model is a compromise and the reason we dont go for it is because football in australia is a place where "everyone is protecting their little feifdoms". Having said that, my time in the usa has taught me it is difficult to tell the difference between a troll and a sincere partisan. Even more, a lot of partisans dont see themselves as partisan, just as people "finally bringing common sense" etc
 
I assume universal charging throughout the league but tough ask with Spirit charging $22.50.
 
Ticket pricing from my perspective - people waste far more on other crap within minutes compared to being at a ground for near on 2hrs.....
$20/25 - you can’t get much unless you spend at a $2 shop again that is crap.
