Ryan Strain not in the matchday squad altogether for Dundee United. Might either be injured or given a rest before the Conference League third qualifying round match against Rapid Wien over two legs later in the week.

Jack Iredale played the full match in addition to stoppage time for Hibernian in their 2-1 Scottish Premiership opening win away at Dundee FC. Martin Boyle started and played 80 minutes as captain before being subbed off.

Thought Italiano was pretty rugged, but lacked the technique that most of his gen and younger.
