Thankfully the Jankovic suspension didnt cost us as we struggled to deal with some of the direct south hobart play, Inglese really out of sorts.

May cop a hiding on the weekend but this is the one we had to win.

Really starting to get agitated with how we are being officiated, most obvious handball missed and the indirect free kick. Brennan cops a soft yellow for supposed foul accumulation whilst one of ours gets hacked from behind and only a talking to occurs.

We will almost certainly not get a penalty this season.

Are we going to see Menelaou this season? Fitness issues must be pretty bad with him.
 
Just glad to get through tonight’s match. Another come from behind win. It was probably our poorest match in close to 2 months. We struggled to hold the ball early on. South Hobart players were running on adrenaline early on. We steadied the ship and should have put the result to bed far earlier.

That was a definite handball in the first half. Convert that and you go into the sheds at 3-1 up and you’ve broken their spirit.

Hopefully the flight tomorrow is not cancelled, and the players can get a recovery session in.
 
It is what it is, the guys had to grind it out in tricky conditions AND a motivated home team... It wouldn't have helped being stuffed around with flight cancellations but they did look very flat... Officiating was indeed strage ... I cant even remember the last time Ive seen an indirect free kick in the box... but lets just take the win and move on.... This year has gone from unmitigated disaster to being ion one cup final, another round of 16, free (pretty much) from relegation and an exciting new competition to play in .... not too bad considering what April/May looked like....

The people who mention racism are usually the racists themselves. BTW, it is an Anglo country that you chose to move to and live in.

If you are not happy with your Anglo masters, then time to head back to where you call " home "
