Yep, same on as always at SO.Decent source?
Didn’t they used to have one on the old South Sydney Croatia crest in the early days. Maybe that’s what the AI has picked up when it trawled the internetHow did fucking Skippy get into the Sydney United logo?![]()
Only thing going on is who will get 2nd & 3rd. Olympic is gone so no last day relegation battle.

Amazing.You have a great memory.
It’s called being a sicko. Absolutely useless amounts of Australian soccer knowledge floating around the the old noggin. Meanwhile no one in this country even knows these clubs exist or that the games are even onYou have a great memory.
If that does eventuate - I wonder if the MLS model will develop further, in the sense that expansion comes first to the B-League/Championship, and then when expansion for A-League happens, they draw from 2nd div, and then bring new clubs up from NPL etc into B-League/Championship, until about 30 odd in totalI heard again yesterday that B-League (H&A) will start in 2027. Sounds like it will be in line with the A-league, not the NPL season.
don't know why this is giving me vibes of the Parliament House flagpole on Canberra Croatia'sYou have a great memory.
Re npl; no doubt imo if a home and away national second div goes ahead the state leagues will inevitably get hollowed out and likely experience a drop in level and interest atleast initially as that talent and interest transfers to the nsd. To be expected as they’ll go from being the second tier to the third tier of Australian soccer.
Will be especially pronounced in nsw and vic as they lose many of their biggest clubs and have them replaced with u23s teams. Maybe that’ll motivate the bigger clubs which are left behind to aspire to more/to aim for the nsd as a goal.
If we’re honest the state leagues as they stand (particularly nsw and vic) are probably a higher profile than they would be naturally because of the bigger clubs that are there somewhat against their will and who have spent most of their history on the national stage/aspire to once again.
If we had an organic pyramid many of the clubs which generate that interest/drive the standards in those leagues probably wouldn’t/shouldn’t be consigned to state league football in the first place
Agreed, or Melbourne knights, Heidelberg etc for that matter. It’s one thing if an nsd is much more open to allowing ambitious clubs to make that jump if they’re able through one mechanism or another. It’s another if these clubs are still trapped down there playing in leagues half made up by u23s.what happens to ambitious clubs like Sutherland Sharks? I doubt they wanna be paying that much money to play kids week in week out.
Hoping the H & A season is open not only to the 8 Federation Clubs.
What's their history? Where did they play ?You have a great memory.
