Eh SU do it with the crowd at Edensor we do it in the change room what’s the matta man.
Least they do it unlike many that don’t.

Even my son association cro club do their chants after wins.

Maybe im talking out of my ass but it seemed like Preston were one of the first to really popularise it with their post game “ring ding ding” routine.

And the Australia cup broadcasters pushing post game celebrations in their marketing

I was at that game. Complacency is why they are where they are and where Olympic will be if they continue to carry on the way they do.

Again, grain of salt, I might again be talking shit here, but maybe it’s been a bigger part of Melbourne sports culture for a longer time. The concept of a club song and the routine of singing it is a big part of afl culture and by extension Melbourne culture. That’s why from day 1 Melbourne victory felt it important to create that “victory the brave song” and play it after they win when no such equivalent exists elsewhere in the league. I believe Melbourne storm also have an equivalent when no such equivalent exists at other nrl clubs as far as I’m aware
