It feels weird seeing those celebrations from an A league team beating an npl team.

So im gonna stick my neck out and say that by the time the final is played which will be on the eve of the A league season surely the big blue winner beats the npl opponent again like last year.

Another tough game, quite even for most but credit to Victory it took a good piece of play from of the sides to break down the stubborn defences.

This player Caspers, I think he can do a job at a-league level given the likes of Monge and Deli already have a-league experience APIA have got some good ball players but needed their striker Ortiz to make a difference unfortunately looked ineffective from the flu.

Now we get Sydney vs Victory in the semi, guarantee a-league finalist now we wait for the NPL finalist to join them imagine if its Victory vs South Melbourne lol!

I think APIA will consider themselves unlucky tonight, either team could have won on the day. APIA played some good stuff in tight spaces at times, just lacked the final product in the end. As LFC said you could tell a few APIA players looked like they were carrying knocks etc, namely Sean Symons. Was a good night in the end. Good to see a decent enough contingent of Melb fans mid week interstate v an npl club. You could see Melbourne came to win, they weren’t just there for a kickabout
