Socceroos vs Brazil in September 2026

Pre-sale opened at 1pm today.

By 1:30/1:45pm, when I got to check it out, only single seats were available along the bottom tier, all the middle top tier were unavailable, and the top tier itself - labelled in best BS as Platinum seats - had only a couple of bays where you could buy more than 2 seats.

A bit crappy that they either did not release the better seats or they just go fast (as they have in the past I must admit) but I bought seats for my group in the Suncorp Nosebleeds. $189 each if you were wondering.

Is it September yet?

It won't be funny if Brazil beat us in the final then we beat them in the friendly.
I got my Brisbane ticket in the expensive section in row 2 of section 320-1. For Townsville I'm in s227 Row N. Having never been to either I've no Idea if they are great tickets or not. Row 2 sometimes worries when they put a lot of stuff on the sidelines.

I can't believe it's sold out already, there aren't that many bandwagoners in Brisbane.
It told me that all tickets were currently being processed by other users. Maybe some will timeout or not go through with it. The graphic showed tickets available but I couldn't cart any at the time. (about 2:15)

I got this too but tried again and got a.single in top tier on halfway
Have been up there before when a couple of prem teams were out a few years back & the view is great.

Socceroos have always been a big draw card in Brisbane. Football is strong here regardless of attendances at aleague games.

I have waited at the Ticketek window at Central Station on my way to work a few times in the past so when they opened I was one of the first in. I forgot this time, and especially with the World Cup vibe I was lucky to get my 4 together 45 minutes or so after sales opened.

You can search for "Suncorp Stadium seat view" or just go to "https://suncorpstadium.com.au/plan-your-visit/stadium-map" then click on your section (320) to get a little bit of an idea what you will see.

The view looks to be about Row 15 - but if you are at all like me it will give you a buzz in anticipation.
These games give me the opportunity to visit the only 2 major football stadiums I haven't been to It will be interesting to see how they compare. I also got my NRL Grand Final tickets yesterday in a spot I've never been at before (3 rows from the front of the top deck) so it will be a busy week of football watching.

I'd like to see Priestman this window. A shame we can't sneak a third game. Maybe something in the ME? Bit much for all the staff to go no matter how many players are going back that way.
Are we sure we can't sneak a third game in? This window is designed to have 4 matches - Brazil is going to India straight after Australia, so it's definitely possible.

Interestingly India are playing in ASEAN Cup while also playing Brazil in Kolkata.

Maybe we could send a B team? Although FIFA objects to B teams.

ASEAN Cup is now a fully fledged FIFA tournament and locks in players.

Plus ASEAN is our AFC sub-confederation.

Morocco has official B teams for the men and women. I don’t see why we can’t.

Seems like it's more an issue of being accepted by ASEAN rather than anything else.

There was a time when we were actually accepted into the East Asian Cup (I believe it was early 2010's, between the 2011 Asian Cup and 2014 World Cup)
